Character
Name: Rio
Age: 14
Canon/AU/PG/Original: The Wizard's Cat
Personality/Background:
►Before Rio even came along, he was one part of a powerful wizard's cat named Hilario.
►After 100 deaths in Tarnia's service Hilario would be allowed to DIE. He was tired of this living thing. Okay. He lived for too long trying to complete some weird ass task of trying to catch up to his girlfriend.
►EXCEPT LOL. TARNIA DIDN'T WANT THAT. Tarnia had become very attached to Hilario. Instead of allowing him to die he sent him to Earth to be reincarnated: THUS TWIN BOYS WERE BORN.
►RIO AND MAO ARE V DIFFERENT PEOPLE. Mao seems to be a little more outgoing than Rio. Rio loves to read books and is a little more...kept to himself!
►While SAVING A CAT. Rio gets hit by a car. Good Going Rio. But NO WORRIES. Rio is saved by a magician, becoming his cat. Not that he knows what that means. BASICALLY GETS BULLIED INTO SERVITUDE :/ He accepts it though, even if he wants to go home.
►TURNS OUT THAT when Hilario was reincarnated. Rio got the body and Mao got the memories. So Rio knows nothing about Hilario while Mao knows everything. Like. Childhood Hilario memories even!! So Mao tells Rio ALL ABOUT HILARIO!
►Reincarnation is a HUGE THING in this series. Rio gets reincarnated into the cat that...he incidentally saved and then once more into another boy who gets the chance to grow old and then ultimately the circle is complete.
►OT3 ENDING TBH. It is important that this series ends on a good note with the three of them reunited and all that jazz.
Rio was the twin who concealed Hilario's body. It was something he was unaware of. Mao was the one who had the memories...so as a child the boy's mother was always kind of afraid that Mao talking about all that weird shit would influence Rio. But. Considering that Rio subconsciously still had those memories himself!!! Rio would always believe Mao. Always always always. After all, Mao was his precious twin brother.
In school, Rio was always the less popular one. Nerdy and a SERIOUS bookworm. He loves to read. So much. His one true love: books and learning. It was a decent life for him. His world was quiet and full of Mao. That was really all he ever needed.
WELL UNTIL HE GETS HIT BY A TRUCK. Literally. He was attempting to save a stray cat and ended up getting hit. His entire world from there on out was completely different. He was saved by a magician who made him into his new cat. Tarnia, the magician who was the one to banish Hilario into the human world is the one who ended up saving Rio. Pulling him into his "protection" and what not.
Rio knows for a fact that he is not strong, but to him? It doesn't matter. If there is something that much worth it to him-- he will lay his own life down. It's tested one too many times. Which. TURNS OUT IS A BAD THING. ACTUALLY. Because having the immortal body that Hilario once possessed....it meant that Rio was actually still bound by the old contract that Tarnia has in place with Hilario.
You could say that Rio is a person who can rush into things, and get set off easily. He gets sulky far too often. Rio is the one with the MORALS and STANDARDS from the human world. If something has to be done then to Rio? IT NEEDS TO BE DONE FAIRLY AND NOT WITH PEOPLE DYING....preferably!! Rio is also so willing to save his own brother and Tarnia that he ends up allowing himself to be reincarnated AT LEAST two more times. He wants to see Mao and Tarnia's happiness of course so he always promises to come back.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ARE: Rio is very easy to startle, and even easier to get riled up. He's also very gullible. He is SO SO SO SO OPEN WITH HIS FEELINGS AS WELL. Being open with your feelings means that you are expressive, which Rio very much is. Rio is
Sample:
►What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A perfect happiness? For me? A perfect happiness would be seeing Mao and Tarnia happy, of course. Seeing loved ones able to live their life as they wish is truly a gift after all.
►How do you like to spend your free time?
Easy. I like reading. Give me a library and a window of free time. I probably wouldn't leave.
►Who would you really like to tell off? Why?
Tarnia. That guy ticks me off sometimes. Going out of his way to lie to me about things. I'm pretty sure I can't tell him off any more than I have....but if it came to it again! I really would.
►What do you think other people think of you? What do you want them to think of you?
First off, I don't really mind what people think of me that much. But I guess if I had to guess of what others thought of me...they probably think I'm a nerd or something. Since I read a lot.
►Would you kill someone? If so, what would it take?
No! I mean..it's wrong. Killing people is wrong. If there is another solution then by all means go for another solution. I couldn't stomach killing someone.
Game
What possessions are they bringing along?
Glasses, some books, clothes.
What do they want in return for helping?
A definite way to save Tarnia from some awful fate. EVEN IF HE GETS PISSY WITH TARNIA he also loves Tarnia quite a lot. His life. :|
